My Story

I come from a simple family, where life was not easy, but it was rich in lessons, resilience, and creativity.

My father was a gold miner, and my mother took care of our home and six children. The income from mining was often not enough, and we faced many hardships. Even so, I grew up surrounded by strength, love, and the ability to create as a way to survive.

My father was not only a miner - he was also a true artisan. With his own hands, he made leather sandals, shoes, bamboo baskets, fruit holders, and many other handcrafted pieces. He was always creating something, always finding a way forward.

Watching him work shaped who I am today.

One of the most meaningful memories of my life happened when I had my first daughter. I couldn't afford to buy her a beautiful crib, so my father made one out of bamboo. It became the most beautiful crib I had ever seen - not because of perfection, but because it was made with love, care, and purpose.

For many years, this creative gift stayed dormant while life led me down other paths. But what is true and deeply rooted always finds its way back.

Today, through Izabelaartisan, I transform reclaimed branches into one-of-a-kind handcrafted lamps. Each piece honors nature, embraces imperfection, and carries a story of resilience, heritage, and renewal. What many see as discarded, I see as possibility,

Every creation is made by hand, respecting the natural form of the wood and celebrating its unique character. My work is more than décor - it is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and bring warmth and meaning into your space,
